Questions To Ask Before Purchasing A Water Treatment System
 
Is the system Certified by NSF?
Multi-Pure's Drinking Water Systems have been tested and certified by NSF under NSF Standard No. 42 - Aesthetic effects for Chlorine, Chloramine and Particulate Matter. Multi-Pure is also certified under Standard 53- Health Effects for asbestos, certain endocrine disrupters, cysts, lead, mercury, MTBE, trihalomethanes, turbidity, and VOCs (51 chemicals & pesticides). The replacement filters are also tested and certified by NSF.

Many other companies would like you to believe that they are extensively Certrified by Internationally recognized bodies. Always ask for Certification!
 
Is there a warranty on the system?
Yes! 25 years on the Stainless Steel housing, 5 years on Plastic housing unit and 12 months on Accessories.

Is there a replaceable filter? If so, is it easy to change?
Yes and Yes!

How often should the filter be changed and how much does the replacement cost?

Once a year or 400-1200 gallons* and cost of replacement filter range from S$110 to S$260 per filter.

How long has the company been in business?

Multi-Pure has been in business since 1970.

Does the System remove the natural, healthy trace minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium?
Multi-Pure Solid Carbon Technology does not remove the natural healthy trace minerals.

Does it use electricity or waste water?
No.

Is the System easy to use?

Yes. Multi-Pure Solid Carbon Technology does not require storage of water and there is no delay time in treating the water.

Do you want a system that can reduce a wide range of contaminants?

YES!!!


*Depending upon which unit is being used. Aquadome, MP750 Series all have 750 gallon capacities. MP400PC has a 400 gallon capacity and MP880 Series has a 600 gallon capacity.
